Training
The design of the Graphical User Interface for TURBOdesign1 and TURBOdesign2 has been done in such a way as to make the software very simple to use. However, in order to use the codes in an effective way and to obtain good aerodynamic designs training is required. ADT provides 2 types of training:
Basic Design Training
In this training module a basic introduction to the use of the code for application to your problem of interest will be provided. This will include the specification of all the input parameters for TURBOdesign1 and some appropriate choices for design inputs. Also the users will be taken through the steps in post-processing the output and how to use the results obtained especially by considering the pressure/Mach number distribution predicted by TURBOdesign1 and the geometrical shapes to fine tune the design.
Advanced Design Training
The advanced training covers all the material covered in Basic Design Training. But it takes the design problems a step further by considering how TURBOdesign1 should be used coupled with a 3D CFD code so that off-design performance requirements as well as geometrical and any possible manufacturing constraints can be made by making adjustments to the input loading distribution and stacking conditions.
Bespoke Closed Courses - Technology Transfer, Advanced Modelling and Additional Modules
Some companies ask ADT to run a training course in a specific area of technology. This can major on the use of the software, the basic principles behind the technology or the advanced theory. In some cases, ADT have run courses that have not mentioned or demonstrated any software - technology was the focus.
All the above training modules are available onsite, at ADT offices or by web-meetings. Please contact us for further information.
